You never know when you need energy

Sometimes you forget the things you used to be able to do.

Last week I nearly missed my bus and could see it approach the bus stop about 200 yards away from me. Being the determined person I am I decided to run for it and wearing high wedge sandals and hoping that I wouldn't trip and be splayed across the pavement I actually caught it and could tell I had impressed those on board the bus.

I used to regularly go out for runs but got out of the habit and surprised myself how I could still do it.

Energy is something we take for granted until it goes. I am finding more and more of my clients come to me as they have not got the energy they used to have. It could be they can't walk their children to school or maybe the energy is not there to keep the garden as lovely as they wished.

I really enjoy trying to get to the core of what is going on and supporting them through improving sleep, food choices, timings of meals, looking at blood tests to see if they are deficient in anything and also checking out digestive health as they may not be absorbing as they used to.So many conditions are supported by good digestive health and to further support you I am an accredited digestion with confidence practitioner. This provides me with the skills to support and see the results and the joy experienced when my clients can do some of the things they could only dream off.

Try these simple tips to boost your energy.

  1. Go for a daily walk

  2. Drink plenty water

  3. Make time for breakfast ( overnight oats or egg, avocado and wholemeal toast are good for balancing blood sugars and avoiding the mid morning slump)

  4. Have a regular bedtime routine. Our bodies need routines and regular bedtimes allows our body clock to function well.

  5. Eat a rainbow diet . Full of colour and variety
